A Defected Ground Structure Based Compact Circular Patch Antenna Design for mm Wave Application

چکیده

This paper presents a novel defected ground structure-based slotted circular patch antenna for mm-Wave application. A with compact size of 10 mm×8 mm×0.75 mm is fabricated in the lab. The designed has 2 GHz impedance bandwidth that covers frequency range 42GHz to 44GHz. It achieves directional radiation pattern millimeter-wave applications and maximum realized gain 6 dBi at operating 42.65 GHz. Defected structure (DGS) loaded on bottom dielectric substrate, which improves reduces surface wave propagation. proposed achieved polarization makes it suitable
